The Brief & Concept Sketch
The collector requested an homage to resilience. We synthesized mythic imagery with historical references, generating custom digital charcoal studies for tone mapping.

Using surgical skin markers directly on the muscle groups to ensure the design wraps gracefully as the arm rotates, preventing distortions when walking or resting.
Layering Values & Contrast
24 total hours across 3 sessions. Dense solid carbon black anchors the deepest crevices, while diluted greywash layers yield silky photorealistic skin gradients.
